The Diplomatic Security Foundation (DSF) is proud to celebrate the 34th year of the DSF Charity Golf Outing, originally founded in 1990 by DS Special Agent Mike Considine. As our premier annual fundraiser, this event enables us to provide critical grants to members of the global DS "family" facing hardship or crisis and to support our scholarship program for high school seniors. Since our founding in 1995, DSF has awarded over $1.7 million in grants, including $90,000 in 2024 alone. We are deeply honored to assist these families in times of need (visit our Grants page for a full list).

Thanks to the generosity of our incredible donors, sponsors, and golfers, we can continue this vital mission. Last year’s outing raised an astounding $210,000—all of which went directly to grants. Join us in making this year’s event our most successful yet!

A FUN AND CASUAL DAY OF GOLF

This event welcomes golfers of all skill levels (yes, even hackers!), offering a fantastic opportunity to play on one of the premier golf courses in the DC area. Your $225 registration includes green fees and cart, continental breakfast, access to the course beverage carts, lunch on the course, and a post-golf reception.

After that date, fees are refundable only if we can replace you with someone off the waitlist – otherwise, fees converts to a tax deductible donation.)

Sponsoring the DSF Charity Golf Outing is a powerful way to make a difference! Whether you're a golfer or not, you can be part of this incredible event. Sponsorships start at just $150 for a Hole Sponsorship and go up to $25,000+ for an Ambassador Sponsorship—with options for every level of support. But act fast—sponsorships are available only until early May!

As a sponsor, your generosity will be recognized on the DSF Sponsors Page, in the golf program, and on event signage. Big or small, every contribution helps us continue our mission of supporting the DS family in times of need.

Donating an item for our awesome raffle is an easy and helpful way to sponsor. Raffle Sponsors are recognized just like regular sponsors. And sponsors donating items worth $500+ receive ad space in the golf program. Gift certificates, sporting event tickets, etc, if you’ve got it, we’ll take it!

Want to Volunteer?
If you’re interested in volunteering, let us know. We need a ton of help from 7:00-10:00 am. When the golfers are out it is quiet, but then things pick back up around 3pm as the golfers start returning. So if you can only work half a day, just let us know if you’re available AM or PM. We are desperate for photographers - we need at least one on each course, so if that’s your thing, let us know! Email us at Info@dsfoundation.org.

Need a hotel?
We don’t have a block of rooms, so visit the Lansdowne Resort for room availability. Also check out SpringHill Suites Ashburn Dulles North or Tru by Hilton Ashburn One Loudoun, both are just a short 4 mile drive away and are usually under $200 a night.
