DS Foundation Fall Luncheon A Great Success!

The Fall DSF Luncheon is in the books! We had a great event on October 31, 2024, with a terrific crowd of current and retired DS folks as well as many friend from the business sector. We couldn’t have asked for more beautiful weather for our outdoor BBQ buffet at the Arlington Knights of Columbus.

We were extremely lucky to have many great speakers including Assistant Secretary of State Gentry Smith, Carlos Matus (PDAS - Director DSS), Ron Stuart (DAS - Asst Dir for Countermeasures), and Andrew Wroblewski (DAS - Asst Dir for Domestic Operations). Each speaker shared with the crowd the latest news at DS. Bruce Turner, Board Member for our partner organization DSSAA, filled us in on the latest happenings at the Association. DSF President Todd Brown discussed some of the highlights about DSF and the recent grants we have been able to make thanks to the generosity of our many donors, including many of our corporate sponsors who were in attendance yesterday: Cayuse Technologies, Guidehouse, Inter-Con Security, Leidos, Makwa Global, MetaPhase Consulting, Obsidian Solutions Group, SOC, and our favorite bank: SDFCU.

It was definitely an enlightening and energizing day. Look for information coming soon about our next event to be held in Spring 2025. We hope you can join us then.
